THE JOY OF FOOTBALL

A good game starts with showing up.

Fast passes, last-minute goals and the feeling of playing as one. Small-sided football packs plenty of touches into a session and makes a weekly game easy to organise.

01

Find your format

Choose a pitch that suits your group: five-a-side for a compact game or a larger format when you have more players. Check the venue’s player limit.

02

Pack your kit

Bring a ball if it is not provided, water and footwear approved for the surface. Ask about bibs, changing facilities and floodlights.

03

Make the first game count

Split into balanced teams and agree the length of each game. A rotating substitute keeps the pace comfortable for everyone.

Know your ground before you go.

The right format

Ground or court size, session duration and the kind of game you’re planning.

The right facilities

Lighting, equipment, parking and other venue-specific amenities.

A clear plan

Live slots and policy information will be shown before booking opens.
